This deck is a janky experiment. It tries to abuse Sekki, by running:
• "double counters" effects
• "double tokens" effects
• fighting
The idea is you keep getting Sekki to fight other creatures, making lots of tokens along the way. Eventually Sekki dies; it gets put it in the graveyard (not command zone), then bring it back by sacrificing 8 tokens, and continue. Other notes:
• I have a few animate artifact and animate land effects, so Sekki can fight them. (It's odd removal.)
• Static anthem effects (e.g. Caged Sun) would be strange in this deck, so I ultimately decided to avoid them. With an anthem out, the (0/0 base) Sekki doesn't actually die when losing all of its counters. Sekki continues to make tokens though when damaged (the rulings on Sekki are weird). Normally that would be great; for example, if you have a Pariah's Shield on it, you would have an unkillable (by damage) Sekki, that spits out lots of tokens. However, a 0/0 Sekki with a +1/+1 anthem doesn't fight for much, and also the rulings on this are a little odd to explain to people. So I decided that for this deck this interaction wasn't worth it, and I avoid it. Maybe a different deck build could abuse this.
