This uses a non-legal general: Ali from Cairo.
There are quite a few unique characters in Arabian Nights / Antiquities who would have been legends, but the concept of Legendary permanents didn't exist until the Legends expansion.
- A lot of Earthquake and "deal X damage to each player" effects. The idea is even if Ali from Cairo dies, it still protects you during the spell.
- Switch life totals effects; since I am frequently at 1 life.
